Preparing for Storage..   Freezing.  Welcome to Montana. Here in Montana it is very important to protect your valuables against freezing.  Many of your items will not be effected al all but please remember valuables that may be filled with liquid (ie, decorative globes, soda bottles, etc.) will freeze any most likely become damaged after a winter freeze. Like items.  Pack like items together.  Pack together in uniformly sized boxes this will make handling and stacking easier.  Remember to stack heavier boxes on the bottom.  Label boxes accurately and in large print so you will not have to open boxes to check the contents. Breakables. Carefully wrap all glassware, dishes and other breakable items in bubble wrap and tape closed.  You might also wrap yours linens, and towels around the bubble wrap for extra protection. Organize. Organize your unit!  Keep rooms and like items together.  Leave walkways for ventilation and ready access.  Store items not readily needed in the rear.  Cover it.  It is always a good idea to cover your mattresses to protect then from dust and moisture.  You can also store pillows in plastic bags.  Also consider covering furniture for extra protection from dust and scratches.
